Hello Fall

Since I didn't go in for surgery after all due to a complication but am now getting scheduled for 2 months of chemo I get to work on cards to keep inspiring you! Today I'm using Spellbinders new September Small Die of the Month, "Stitched Fall Leaves." This die set is only available this month!! And it's better to order sooner than later!

Here where we live we don't get these brilliant colors but up Oak Canyon between Sedona and Flagstaff, AZ, oh my! I used an old fall print from Spellbinders from years ago that I still had. I also used a shiny metallic gold embroider floss to stitch the leaves.

Aren't these leaves beautiful! That floss really glistens in the light! I also added a few gold sequins.

I decided to use the same color scheme for my sentiment and my Bearly Art Glue was used to adhere the mirror gold word to it's shadow. I used a wet Qtip to get excess glue off the mirror gold.

These leaves would be great for just about any season. Think spring!
