Tidy Desk and Christmas Tags

I swear Wednesday comes every couple of days instead of every 7! I think I've just been so busy that the days just fly by!  Last Wednesday I worked at church preparing for The Blast, our Halloween alternative for kids (had over 200 registered between 1 and 12 years of age not including the rest of their families!). Then last Saturday I went to our monthly Casas Paper Crafters get together. Then there was work last Thursday and Monday, church on Sunday, and busy yesterday preparing to make my FB Live video later this morning and what not.  But today, yep today, you get the opportunity to see my desk along with oodles of other desks, should you check out the links, put together by our head desker, Julia at the Stamping Ground.

I stood back a ways to give you this view.  There still is another shelf above the one with the little white drawers which holds stuff that rarely get used. You can see a pile of card stocks, dies, and stamps just to the left of my actual work area.  These are to remind me of the products I use when I make my video (it and many others are on my YouTube channel at the link in the sidebar).  At the top center of my blue mat is a completed card under the one I have prepared to complete on my video.  This is about the tidiest my desk has been in ages!  The black thing far left is my TV remote as the TV is just outside the picture. I watch Amazon Prime and Netflix and also listen to a variety of stations on IHeartRadio.

Last Saturday at Casas we had our annual Christmas Tag Swap.  Here's the table with all the tags almost ready for us to walk around and pick up tags. There was 18 of us participating and we all gave 1 to a member who had eye surgery. I got 1 of mine back.

Here's what I got.  The little gnome tag bottom left is mine. This was my first time to participate as I joined just a couple months before last year's swap and didn't join in.  I will be doing this again!

Tonight we're going out for a special dinner.  It's my hubby's birthday!  My dad and his wife are taking us to someplace new to us. We'll be skipping church tonight but this is special.

Please now head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the others will to share their desks in whatever condition it was when they took the picture.  You'll find some great projects and possibly some great scenery pictures!

sorry, just read your comment... the tissue is fairly fragile, but when I stick it to a card blank of regular cardstock, all will be fine! Helen #1

Hi Carol, hope your hubby had a great birthday and that the meal was all you wished for. Fab tags, but then I do love a tag, this would be right up my street. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #17
