Gift In A Box Card

Yeah, I know Christmas is coming but so are some classes I'll be teaching for Green Valley's Recreation department starting January.  I REALLY need to get some samples ready as the catalog where my classes are advertised tells prospective "students" to email me for samples of the classes.  I already have samples for my January 25 class but I still have to get samples made for my February 22 class and March 22 class.  This card is for February.  It was the first time I ever made it and, I must say, it was easier than I expected!

Here is the card fully assembled.  Isn't it just cool!!

You can see how the box fits in the card!  It stands nicely and the box (2" square inside) and hold a lightweight gift.

I sponged some ink on the flowers to coordinate with the colors I used.

Card stocks: Bubble Gum, Sweet Berry, and Whip Cream
Print Paper: Playful Prints
Dies: Banner Parade
Stamps: Must Have Sentiments
Inks: Sweet Berry
Little Flowers: Decor Blooms
Tools: Paper Trimmer, Sponge, Platinum machine, Clear Block B, Journey Ruler, Details Pro Shears, and Crease Tool
Adhesives: Craft Glue and White Liner Tape

I hope this will be a hit!  My GVR classes are technique oriented and the students bring their own paper.  I supply directions and me.  Class size is limited to 10 and I get a room for 2 hours.

I now need to work on my directions.  I took some pictures of my cutting and creasing and will have templates to show.  Hopefully....
