Since I was gone Thursday aft to Sunday aft it seems the week went extremely fast! I was in Phoenix, AZ for a fun time with Fun Stampers Journey as we had a business meeting Friday evening then a time of play all day Saturday! We made cards, had demos, took photos, and just had a blast. This was open to anyone, not just those who are ind. demonstrators (we're called coaches) with FSJ. I don't have all my photos edited/cropped but getting there. But today is Workdesk Wednesday! Yep, you get to see mine and many others desks where we make our projects. This is brought together by Julia at the Stamping Ground. If you have no idea what this is about please click on the WOYWW logo in the sidebar and you'll be taken to Julia's page concerning this fun blog tour. Now that I've gotten all the specifics taken care of here's my desk this week...
Lots going on! Far left, my red Cricut and 2 paper trimmers. Just to their right a couple stamp sets, pink scraps, ribbon. On the scrap paper kinda left, a card I just finished with ruler, foam tape, personalized stamp just above it. Far right are scissors, jars of sequins and glitter. You can just see the handle end of my red ATG adhesive gun.
I also made some cards prior to heading to Phoenix last Thursday for the Fun Stampers Journey event.
I made this card for our granddaughter as she'll be birthing our 2nd great grandson in April. I tucked a gift card inside. But do you see the pocket on this?
I stamped a frog from a stamp set designed by Phyllis Harris, sold by The Angel Co. many years ago called "Joy Found" (no longer available) colored, cut it out, and tucked it in the pocket. I brayered some cool denim ink on the blue card stock then added the stitching with a white gel pen. I love how this turned out! I seen it on Pinterest HERE.
Ok, now it's time for you to head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the many fun links to desks and projects all over the world! Have fun and leave a comment if you're so inclined!
