It's so sugar coated....

Our youngest granddaughter's birthday is coming up and I wanted to play with an old technique called Retiform. Mischelle, the owner and CEO of TAC™, has a video on her BLOG if you'd like to learn more. You can barely see the technique but I like this little card.

I think Rowan will love the brightness of this.  I used the set Sugar Coated Sweetness, yellow, chartreuse, and hot pink papers from the DCWV Brights cardstock stack.  Also used some narrow chartreuse ribbon and Copic markers, RV29, B41, YG06, Y06, and Blender.

That is a bit of ink under the cake, and, since I didn't use White Caboodle card stock, the makers bled a bit. The background technique used Chartreuse, Paris Lights, and Claret PH ink and the cake is stamped with Tuxedo Black Momento ink. I also used the Stardust Clear Gel pen on the dots and flower center of the cake.

I think Rowan will enjoy this card.  One almost needs sunglasses to look at it!
And tomorrow I'll be in a Blog Hop so stay tuned!!!
