Another Big Game card...

I made a 2nd Father's Day card using the retired "Moose" set.  This time I used the elk from the set and again, watercolor paper.  I actually dampened the paper then stamped the elk using Burnt Umber PH in then stamped again over it using Raw Sienna PH ink.  I then dried the paper and stamped again with the Burnt Umber.

I even used my Water Brush and my Prismacolor H2O pencils to add a little more color.  How do you like the spiral clip?  Great embellishment, I think.

Here's my elk.  I did not stamp directly over each time but had a fraction of an inch offset.  I like how he looks.  And I used up almost all of the camo paper and brown Core'dinations paper.  I was asked by the AZ Scrapbooking store owner, Debi, to make a few Father's Day cards to sell at the store.  I will get a couple more made and you will get to see them here.  I still have cards to make for my hubby, dad, stepson, and son.  Gotta get the thinking cap on!  Do you have your cards done yet??

Great masculine card!! That's exciting that you get to sell some cards for the store! I am not even started on my Father's Day cards yet! I have three to create and then going to help my kiddos make one for their daddy, as well!

Big Game! That's the majority of what we saw in 2600 miles pre-Memorial Day weekend! All were cows so no racks; buy, all were big and not at all friendly to up close and personal auto meetings. Every coat/hide was so sleek and shiny as the herd browsed in fresh rain brightened tall grasses. Even the deer were kind staying on the borrow ditch or grazing field; a very few looked to check us out. Ha! Thankful for that motionlessness. This Happy Father's Day bugling bull-elk captures a good view of a husky fella we went back twice to admire along a Yellowstone Park turnout last late fall . . . last free weekend in the Park of the season. Missed the first free weekend of this season due to fam illness. Next time.
Blessings
Keep Looking UP!
