I purchased the April SOTM
Floral Vines and wanted to play with some
acetate that my friend Becky Sheppard (an angel in Sierra Vista, AZ) sent me to experiment with.

I stamped the image with
Black Staz-On but I didn't really get a good image (should have cleaned the stamp good before using). After drying I used my
Crystal Lacquer and loose glitter to color in the open areas. I used small purple brads to attach the acetate panel to the scrap yellow from my paper bucket and layered this on a piece of purple cardstock scrap. The text is from our
Inspirational Sayings set stamped in
Noir PH ink. The card base is from our
Natural Cardstock Assortment. This is a rather simple card and I hope to play more with the acetate like running it through a Cuttlebug embossing folder and such. Hopefully next week I'll get something done.
Watch for another blog hop starting Saturday night! We will be making scrapbook pages using our hostess sets and GWPs. Mine is a rather silly card showcasing our 3 granddaughters.
And please don't forget to vote for my messy craftroom! Click
