Yummy Wishes

At our last Salsa stamp club meeting we were shown how to make an arrow card. I think I have done this before but it's been a LONG time! My focal point is a cupcake I found in my stash from forever ago.

(I use affiliate links for the products I use. If you shop through these links I may receive a small commission at NO cost to you.  Thank you for your support.)

This is a pretty easy fun fold and the one thing you need to remember is if your print paper has a direction, make sure you cut it right!

You need to score from the center of the bottom (or top) to each card fold and from the center of the bottom (or top) to 1/2 way to the card fold. You score on these lines. It's a mountain fold for the long lines and valley folds for the short ones. I adhered my "arrow" down for more stability.

For the print paper I cut a piece of text paper at 4" x 5 1/4" and folded it in half on the long edge.  Center is real close to 2 5/8". You need to cut on the lines then adhere the big triangle to the front of the card and the 2 small ones inside.

This view will help you. The Happy Birthday image inside is from Spellbinders Birthday Unboxing Sentiments.

Today I start chemo again. I hope the side effects doing take me down too much as they are terrible.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.

Lovely card. I made one for my grandson’s birthday. By the time I realized I needed to trim a touch the patterned paper they were already glued down. Still looks good. But think would have been better with the tiny border around the patterned paper.
