A Christmas Poinsettia

 I recently purchased the most beautiful poinsettia paper by Mintay Paper called Winterland.  I have made my first card using it and 3 die sets, 2 from Spellbinders and 1 from Scrapbook.com.

I used Spellbinders "Layered Poinsettia" die set on their Fluted Classics Circles die. The black circle really makes the poinsettia pop!


I embellished with Buttercup Liquid Pearls but my dots went flat. Is there a trick to keeping them nicely rounded? I'm not overly pleased with them.


I love the Merry Christmas sentiments! Sometimes it's hard to find the dot for the "i" when you cut these out! Thank goodness for my Jewel Picker! And I used my Bearly Art Glue to adhere the sentiment.

I plan on making 5 more cards using this gorgeous paper. I think I need to get my Glimmer Hot Foil machine heating!
