Enjoying My Desk

I am so enjoying my desk this past week! I am 100% recovered, back to work, back to everything! So I am also back to my desk. And today I'm linked up to Julia of the Stamping Ground and joining others who are brave enough to share what their desks look like! This is week 650.

I took this picture yesterday afternoon when I remembered that I needed to get this post together.  I'm in the final prep for my class this Friday.  I usually make a kit for me and do all the coloring and simple stuff to help my class and to make it speedier for the video after. You can see my pencil case on the far left which needed to be put away and a card on the far right that I'm starting to get my card prepped. I have only 3 gals coming but I also had to make 5 kits for those unable to come.

Saturday past 2 friends and I headed to the greater Phoenix, AZ area to visit a couple great stamp and scrapbook stores. I purchased oodles of print 12 x 12s for next year's classes. You can see the papers HERE and a couple fun pics with friends. We had so many laughs and giggles. It was wonderful!

Well, I guess that's all for now. I hope you check out the links at Julia's. I missed joining in last week as I had a medical procedure (a colonoscopy) that I have to have every 5 years and had a polyp removed.

I went over to have a look at your fun day out! How wonderful to hav some fun with friends and but lovely new stash as well, after Covid we’ll never take these simple pleasures for granted ever again. I’m so pleased that you’re fully recovered and back on the kit prepping, your ladies will enjoy the workshop so much.

Been so long since I've been shopping, I am not sure if I miss it or not. And an in-person class? Crikey. I almost forgot what that was like. Hope your goes well and all enjoy it. Off to check out the papers - not like I need any but still....

It looks as if you had a really good day, and my word Carol, I look to you for organisation skills, fancy being able to pick papers for next year already. I wouldn’t mind a day in the greater Phoenix area right now, it’s a bit dark and chilly here! So glad to read that you’re completely recovered, phew! Don’t go overdoing it now, a long day out is still a stamina requirement! I hope the class is fun, I don’t need to say it hope it goes well! I’ve been making up pre stamped kits instead of regular kits and boy, does it take time!

Your day out looked like fun and I love the papers you bought - how organised are you getting ready for next year already! I have pencil case envy - what a wonderful holder for them - I love to see things in colour order so that really appeals to me!
Hope you have a great week and glad you are feeling fully recovered.

I can't remember the last time I went shopping in a craft shop. Your trip sounds great fun and I'm just a little envious. I'm sure the workshop wentvwell. Hope you've recovered from that intrusive procedure - necessary but not much fun. Sorry to be so late. Elizabeth x #24
