Yesterday I made this oh so cute Halloween card using a great frame die by Whimsy Stamps and fun dies by Spellbinders. There is even a "spooky" element to it!

I started with a black card base and added a purple layer that I splattered with Black Licorice Silk from Spellbinders.
Isn't this cute! Do you see the "spooky" in this card? There's 2 ghosts hiding behind the words! And the vellum they're behind kinda makes them look ethereal or something like that.
I made this card on video and you can see the BIG boo boo I made attaching my sentiment to the frame but I fixed it before taking photos. Lesson learned that my Bearly Art Glue DOES show up behind vellum and when you try to remove it, it pulls the card stock apart. A few swipes with my black Arteza water brush pen fixed the white color from the torn paper. On the card I used 6 dots of the glue then covered them with the black gems.
I was thinking of adding a moon behind the bats & tree but thought it would be too distracting.
I did add yellow behind the pumpkin and cat as that made them seem more spooky.
Down below I have links to the other dies I talked about and shown on my
video and recently got from Whimsy Stamps except for their Slimline Observation Deck die which didn't want to come up with the others.
I have plenty of Halloween cards for our family. I need to finish making the kits for my class on the 22nd. Back to my desk!
