Art Deco Style

I was given a free set of stamps by Papermania a while back and had to buy some paper to even make a card.  The set screamed for golds and blacks and the sample from a magazine (docrafts Creativity Nov/Dec 2012 edition from England) backed up that thought.  Now I'm not a big fan of Art Deco but I did enjoy the movie Xanadu starring Olivia Newton-John.  (Did I just date myself???)  The roller skating rink in this movie is of the Art Deco style, at least to me.

I colored her with Copic markers and you can see that the paper has a bit of a sheen.

I used the Stardust Clear Gel pen on some of the feathers, dress & shawl trim, and jewelry. This stamp set will be included in that huge stash I was given as a donation for auction for Tucson's Crops of Love at a retreat in October.  It's just not my style. I actually enjoyed the magazine way more than the stamps!
