Saturday I had a very enjoyable day taking 2 classes from Ken Oliver of Spellbinders. I love Spellbinder products (no, I did not get paid to say this, I actually love their products) and still use my old purple Wizard die cut machine and LOTS of their dies. I need to purchase more magnetic sheets to hold the new stuff I purchased to go in my ArtBin box. Anyway, Ken was a hoot! Never a dull moment! I didn't get all my cards finished as I was helping some with the class getting papers and stuff set out, cutting stuff needed, and whatever. I hope to get some finished today. Those I got done haven't been photographed yet and I really don't like some of the color combos we used. Anyway, I did get the opportunity before all the students arrived to get a picture....
Ken had to have Spellbinder products in the picture so we made sure these Grand Caliber boxes next to us and it is a good machine. We used them a lot for the classes.
I did get a scrapbook page done of our middle granddaughter who is an aspiring dancer. She'll be taking a 3 week dance class in Los Angeles this summer and living at the studio while attending 8 hour classes. She is truly a beauty (I'm her granny and very biased!).
The ballet slippers and text in lower right corner are from a Penny Black set called Tutu Sweet. The text in the upper left is from a The Angel Company set. The 2 pattern papers are computer generated from special patterns created for The Angel Company. I'm not a big scrapper but I do like how this page turned out. I'll have to post it on FB so Rylie and her parents can see this.
