So, on to my card. I realized that I had a virgin stamp set! Oh my gosh! A set that's not seen the ink of day! (Time to slap your forehead again.) This cute little set is a Hostess level A set, yours free with a qualifying order of $30 (before tax and shipping). The paper is retired Amelia (which I'm trying to use up).
Isn't this little guy just so cute!! I colored him and the ribbon with Copic markers.
Here's a closeup of the little guy and my flower. I punched 2 sizes of flowers, the Extra Jumbo and the Super Jumbo flower punches, scrunched the paper, opened then sanded for a distressed look. I added the button and Copic-colored white scrappers floss (discontinued by manufacturer). If you look into the owl's eyes you will see a little glimmer from a black glitter pen. I just had to give him a little sparkle.

No, I didn't slap my forehead, I laughed and laughed. Thanks for the giggles today!! LOVE your card, I need to get my owl inked up, he isn't even indexed yet :0(
cute, love the layout and the flower is perfect!
I LOVED the Title and thought OMG how original is this. I have the same owl and again he remains a "virgin" - going to have to fix that soon. Great card and love the flowers.
Love your Title - how original - and love the paper flower you made. I too have this owl and he remains a virgin here too, will have to ink him up soon.
What a beautiful card! Love that flower
Blogiversary owl and eyes for you, too! What a celebration!
Keep Looking Up!

this is too cute. And I probably like it much more right now as I saw another similar owl done as punchies with a nurse's hat on for a get well card. And I have to do a bunch of get well cards! Thanks, just might have to get this guy!
