I sure enjoy Operation Write Home and I even have a surprise for you in Feb. concerning them. Anyway, this week they have a challenge of using bling on a card but NO glitter. No problem! Take a look!
Can you guess what the metallic piece is make of? (Is this a dangling participle?) LOL! Did you get a coffee can seal? If so, you're right! I save them all and have fun using my Spellbinders Nesties then Cuttlebug embossing folders on them. I LOVE the look! Then I added more bling with gems from the Clear & Pearl Gem collection. The stamps are from The Angel Co.
Did you enter my drawing for the stamps and stuff? Pa-lease follow the rules. Happy stamping!

I agree with Jen, this is so clever! I love it when I can re purpose things and you did a great job and what a pretty card!
Coffee Can Seal!!! I grind my own beans!! But I will be looking for other foil seals like this for sure!!! Whoa... Maybe I need to go back to Folgers? :) you are so smart! I love your card!
WOW such a good idea. Coffee Can Seal. Very nice card. Thanks for sharing.
I once punched stars out of silver flat board. Hooray on being super clever and thrifty. TFS!!!
Wow! What a creative idea using coffee can sealers. My mind just doesn't work like that, but I am glad yours does! Looks terrific on this card.
Cool idea for a beautiful card!
I really like your card. You are a true scrapper to save things like coffee can seals and find a way to use them on cards! I love it!
Very clever! I am always on the lookout for "metallic materials" that might be good for using on cards but never thought of this. Beautiful card... especially the embossed and die-cut piece!

I never would have guessed coffee! But since I don't drink it lol that makes sense. I like how you use unusual things to make your cards shine. So pretty!
