Of course this is a terrible pun but I do love pine trees. There are some here but we don't have any on our place. So I had to make a card with a pine tree. The tree is from the set, Good Timber, and I used Mimi SWIC paper and matching ribbon. We now have More Mimi which is double sided but I still have some Mimi to use. I stamped the tree using Burnt Umber PH ink.
What do you think of the little circles under the tree panel? I used a 1/4" circle punch and a scrap piece of the card front to make those. To me they help draw the eye to the tree.
I added the brown button and white scrappers floss to the ribbon to make this car more masculine. And a bamboo skewer does great to curl the floss.
This again is a simple card with a touch of elegance. The sketch is simple yet I love how it turned out.
Are you watching for my next post? We're having a blog hop of angels from Paper Wings showcasing masculine projects. I'm working like crazy finishing mine. So be sure to check back!!

perfect!
Nice card and the Mimi paper is perfect for this image. Bamboo screwer - hmm...I know I have some of those someplace - now just where did I put them.
