Workdesk Wednesday #696

I've had a good week! Actually spent some quality time at my desk and got some projects made! And today you are getting a look at my desk from yesterday afternoon after I got home from chemo. Got pretty good news from oncologist and you can check it out on My Journey page. I'm linking my post to Julia's at The Stamping Ground and joining a bunch of other crafty ladies. This is week 696.

I have a project on my mat that is to post on Friday. I'm playing with a Hero Arts Looking Glass die set that I purchased a couple months ago called Canyon Lands. It will be a birthday card. I used some sentiment stamps from the Scrapbook.com stamp set on the far right.  This was a fast and easy card yet I think it is very cool! (It will post on Friday.)

So are you being crafty?

SWe are away and the weather is terrible so I am being crafty. It is a good excuse to do nothing but craft all day.
I am wondering what the Looking glass die set looks like so i guess i will have found out before you post us a picture - just off to see now.

Hope your weather improves, we need rain here, so dry there are burn bans. Dangerous with all the fields of corn/beans so dry. I like that new stamping set.
Best Wishes for continued good reports.

So glad you had good news yesterday, my SIL is just starting a similar journey and is finding it really difficult so it's good to hear how it's turning out for others. Personally I couldn't do Chemo, so I'm in awe. Hugs BJ#6

Ah, much better that you can carefully congregate, the pasta thing you want when going through this is to be isolated. A good news day Carol, I’m delighted for you. Feeling good and getting stuff done, go you! I’ll have to come back too, I can’t enlarge the pic enough to see exactly what this die set will look like…and you know how nosey I am!
