What's On Your Workdesk Today?

My life has taken a real turn with my diagnosis and I have scans and tests coming up to get ready for surgery mid September. You can click on My Journey page to follow what's going on.

Now, today is the day we share our desks. I'm joining in with Julia of the Stamping Ground for week 690. Mine is being dumped on as I need to get some cards made for The Rabbit Hole Designs. I've been finishing the cards I need for our monthly stamp club get together this Saturday. I have 2 of 3 done. The 3rd is very close and you can see it on my desk on the pile to the left. The theme is Pets/Critters. Mine's a critter, a flamingo.

On the far left my Goodness Knows What pile exploded. Time for a cleaning. On the right is the box of class kits for the class I canceled. I did get kits done for those who signed up before cancellation and all but 1 are delivered. I have 1 extra kit and I will contact a lady that usually signs up and didn't to see if she wants it. We stopped to see her yesterday on the way home from the surgeon and she gave me a wonderful gift of Sizzix's new Stencil & Stamp Tool. I hope to try it out today! I watched the video on it a month ago and will have to find that again. She also gave me a 3D embossing folder that she got but didn't particularly like. I will try it, too!

So now head over to Julia's and check out the links to the other desks. Many have fun projects to share!

It’s everyone’s worst nightmare isn’t it, a diagnosis like yours - but modern medicine is so amazing, I’m sure that you’ll be in good hands and they’ll help you defeat this awful disease. Sending you healing hugs Carol, you really are in my thoughts xx. How lovely of your friend to give you that crafting gift, lasts longer than flowers and will help take your mind off things for a while as well.

Oh it is such a nightmare, isn't it, when the news is not what you want. The Drs. wound like they are on it and hopefully you will get the treatment you need. It's always a challenge when life throws you such a curveball. Sounds like you have good friends to support you. Fingers crossed all will be well.
Happy (late again) WOYWW
