It's Workdesk Wednesday 691

Yep, it's week 691 for this weekly tour of desks. Sadly the number of crafters has dropped tremendously but I find it fun and enjoy visiting the desks and sometimes even seeing some great projects! This tour's leader is Julia of the Stamping Ground

My desk has just been tidied a bit and a potential class card finished (will post it soon) and the supplies and directions, along with the card,  has been placed in my folder to keep things together. Once I get all the cards I want to use together I will advertise the class. It will probably be online only as I'm hoping to have surgery sometime after the 12th when I see my surgeon.

Anyway,  I'm plugging along and been busy teaching hubby how to pay bills, how to make up a bill, and whatever he may need to know about our finances. He's doing pretty good. I had to purchase a new key board for our desk top as my original was missing many letters on the keys due to my fingernails!

I hope you pop over to Julia's! I will be visiting tomorrow since I have my cardiologist appt. today.

I’m glad you’re keeping busy with craft classes and am sure your ladies appreciate it very much! I think it’s a good idea to share the finances knowledge, your remark about the keyboard did make laugh though! I’ve never had long nails cos I hate the clicking on the keys!

Hi Carol. I don't usually have long nails - but I do wear out the keyboard letters with all the creams I need to use on my hands:-)!!! Glad hubby is managing to understand all the financial dealings. John used to do all that for us, and I have now had to learn. My methods are a bit different, but the result is good - no red pen use yet!
I know that your faith in Jesus as your Saviour and healer are great. IF you would like specific prayer support feel free to email me at margaret(dot)diddanfa(at)gmail(dot)com I will gladly back you up in prayer and, if you wanted, pass it down our prayer chain. No pressure.
Take care, dear girl.
God bless you and keep you.

most of my letters on my keyboard have worn away, I keep putting them back with permanent marker but they just smudge and rub off! Glad hubby is a good learner, sounds a sensible plan to me. Take care and happy WOYWW Helen #2

Hi Carol, the numbers may be lower but that makes it easier to get round and visit everyone in a shoter time, I've never liked to miss anyone out and it used to take ages to get round everyone. That's interesting about the keyboard, I've never had a problem though don't tend to have very long nails as they are not strong enough to grow any length but I find if they get too long they just get in the way too. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x12x

Goodness - how long are your nails!!! I can't wait to get my nails r-done at the w/e as I damaged two grating onion for sausage rolls and they are driving me mad. (These children don't appreciate what I do for them lol). I don't think they affect the keyboard though. Yes there are fewer people posting but I do now occasionally get around everyone!! It was always a bit hit and miss before. I love it when a class card comes together, I'm sure your ladies will love it. Have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx ~16
