Split Panel Chris-Mice Card

Last Saturday at our local stamp group in Tucson we made a split panel card as our fun fold demo. I've done these before and they're so easy!

(This post contains affiliate links to products I used that you can purchase. If you shop through these links I may received a small commission at NO cost to you! Thank you for your support!)

This first card is the one we made at group. Some products may be SU! like the kitty face, label die, and sentiment.

And now for my card which I did on video yesterday!

I used a recently purchased Art Impressions clear stamp set with coordinating dies called "Christmas Mice Set."  I colored with my PrismaColor Pencils and used paper from my stash.

This is the inside. You can see how the cover is split with the focal image holding the top and bottom together!

Aren't these little critters cute!

I wasn't going to share the other card I showed on my video until later but I decided to go for it.

Our great grandsons love to watch Shark Week and I sent them a special card that I'll share later but I used the same paper and sticker set for this. BUT, the sharks are not floating! They're attached to a piece of clear view sheet! I show more on my video.

Isn't this a hoot!!  When I get around to mailing this I bet they'll love it! My sharks are 3D stickers by la petites.

You need to use a rather heavy clear sheet since I didn't attach my focal point to the top or bottom panels. And I used Scor-Tape (back ordered at this time on Scrapbook.com) to attach my clear view sheets as regular ATG tape will not hold.

And if you want to see another version of this style card check out this You-Tube video I made back on May 15, 2020. This is a 3 panel card!

I hope you try this style card! Let me know if you do!

Stampin Carol

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand.  Psalm 37:23-24

Cute card idea! Just did something similar to the shark one with my craft group, I think they liked it.
