Getting Ready for My Video

Yep, my desk is busy! I've been playing with the fun fold design we were taught (and one I've done a few times before) at our monthly stamp group last Saturday. It's such an easy card yet has a fun twist.

This is week 686 at The Stamping Ground and Julia, our hostess with the mostess, is keeping up going! Pop over there when you're done here!

You can see my huge colored pencil holder on the far left. It holds about 225 pencils. There is a stamp set just to the right of it that I purchased last Saturday. Then the card. Top right on my mat is the one we made at group along with my ink pad. The directions are just to the right of the glass mat. I'll be sharing this card tomorrow and my video will be up late the morning.

Our monsoon is a bit sparce so far this summer but it has been raining around us on the mountains. Temperatures are down a bit but the humidity has been high. I seem to stick to myself with all the "glowing" I'm doing.

Anyway, I hope you have a fabulous week and keep crafting!

That’s such a great case to keep your pencils in, I wouldn’t mind something like that as mine are in three layers in a tin and it’s just annoying to have to lift out all layers when you want something from the bottom! I know it’s a first world problem but sometimes you just want things to be easy, lol!!

Love the kitty looking out from the top of the stocking. I must do some Christmas cards when we get back. That’s a nice lot of coloured pencils. Happy WOYWW. Angela #16

Love a fun twist. I did three takes on a gatefold the other week and it went down a bomb. Look forward to seeing yours.

Minimal comments as I wrenched my back :(
so I am late AGAIN…

They always say "It's not the heat it's the HUMIDITY" and it is SO true! Love the pencil roll - mine is not so big so I have 2 and never seem to grab the right one....

Mmm I do like the case for your pencils - the tins are OK but as I have a big set it's a bit of a faff with all the layers! Now off to check up on this new fold!! Have a good week, love n hugs, Cindy #15

Cor, you could do with a Big Bang of a monsoon couldn’t you, I’m rubbish at humidity I must say! I don’t think my entire pen and pencil collection comes to that many, but I love the idea of that big old pencil case….not like the shabby pocket types we all had at school!
