Back to my Workdesk

I've been away from my desk the last 2 Wednesdays and I'm having a hard time getting back to being creative! Today I'm joining up with Julia of the Stamping Ground and many other wonderful crafters giving you a glimpse of my desk.

In case you wonder where I was the last 2 weeks, I was on vacation with hubby and a couple friends. We went to central Wyoming where I took part in my 50th high school reunion. I had so much fun reconnecting to classmates. Our youngest son and his family came to where we were and we got to enjoy a little bit of time with them. We also went to the far southeast of WY and had lunch with our daughter. Then to west of Denver, CO and stayed with my brother.  I'll give the rest of the trip info after my desk.

So, I did get a couple cards made Monday after I finished preparing for my class on Friday. One of the cards I made will be for my August class. You can see on my glass mat some stamp sets as I start working on the other 3 cards for August.  I usually clean my desk after each project so it's in transition as I get my ideas together.

I have a few pictures to share of our trip. If you're not interest please feel free to move on to the next desk.

This is me and my hubby at my reunion. I struggle with the thought that this was my 50th! My class had 225 graduates and about 40 of us attended the reunion.

This is our class photo. I'm 2 behind the gal kneeling on the right.

I would share a photo of our son and family but they don't want our grandson on any social media.

This is with our daughter. Her hubby couldn't join us.

This is my brother and his wife. They are a hoot and are in the middle of a home remodel job. So far it's been almost a year, I think. Their house is looking wonderful so far.

Here we're on the Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad at Durango, Co. with our traveling friends. We only went as far as Cascade Park but we all had a good case of TB (tired butt). We spent 4 days in the Durango, CO/Farmington, NM area then headed to Alamagordo, NM. There we went to the Shroud of Turin exhibit. It wasn't the original, of course, but it was fascinating!

And that's about it. I hope you enjoyed the few pics as I have oh so many more!

Head over to Julia's blog and check out the other desks.

Sounds as if you all had a great time, lovely photographs of happy faces. I try and tidy up after each project, but sometimes they merge into each other 🤣🤣. Happy WOYWW. Angela #9

what a great time you have had! I don't think I would recognise many people I was at school with and it isn't quite that long ago... or at least I might know the face, but putting a name to it - no chance! have a good week Helen #2
