My Dining Room, No Desk

I'm back to joining up with Julia of the Stamping Ground for Workdesk Wednesday. I don't have a pic of my workdesk but I did promise a couple weeks ago to share a picture of our kitchen/dining room. This next week we finish our house by painting and reflooring the master bedroom & closet.

Yes, I know the picture on the wall isn't centered but it is way better than what it was as it was centered before we added the corner cabinet. I can still move it but right now I don't want to.  I'm really pleased with the paint colors and the rooms are so much brighter.

Saturday we start moving everything out of our bedroom and closet. We'll be sleeping on our recliners in the living room for a few nights. Some of our stuff will end up out in the car port due to not enough room for it all. I'm so glad to get all this done.

Today I'm prepping my desk for my FB Live video which will be uploaded to my YouTube channel. I'm doing an altered waterfall card.  I made a video and a post last September 9 of a standard A2 card and will be using some of the directions from it.

Yesterday I got the news that I have to replace the struts/coils to my car, replace the valve cover gasket, and a couple other things. OUCH! My car does have a LOT of miles so I really shouldn't be surprised.

Now please head over to Julia's and check out the links to the other crafters and what they are willing to share! I won't be here next week due to putting our bedroom back together so we can use it.

Hi Carol, bet you'll be pleased when everything's finished. I didn't even notice the picture isn't centered, looks fine to me. The colours are perfect but then I love that green. I love old cars (mine is 50yrs old this year) but you have to expect that they will need some work doing on them occasionally. Hope the video goes well. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x13x

Great work Carol, lovely fresh paint colours and it’s so good when you’re pleased and happy to carry on with other rooms straight away. Can’t say I noticed that the pic was off centre, in fact, still not sure it looks it, I sorta didn’t take the corner unit into account so I wouldn’t be in a rush to move it! Hope the clearing out and up continues to go as well as phase one! Am v sorry about the car, that’s a big old ouch.

Well that looks lovely! I totally get the picture thing - I centre things, I look at them and I think "Well, that's not right!" It's really more about how pleasing it is to the eye and not the math of it all :D Sleeping in recliners? Oh dear. Hope you stay rested and it isn't for too long!
Happy WOYWW to you!

I love the new colours in your room, it looks so fresh and bright! Cars are money pits aren’t they? Convenient but there’s always something needs doing!
