I'm Back At My Desk

We're all done painting and reflooring and I have been working on deciding which pictures are going back up and sorting out stuff to donate to the local thrift store. This is week 681. I'm linking up with Julia at the Stamping Ground and joining a bunch of wonderful gals who are willing to share what their desks look like and even share a project or two.

First I'll share my desk. I have a class on Friday and have a couple gals that can't make it so I've been packaging their kits to deliver (1 has already been mailed).

The kits are to the left of my glass mat and on the lower left corner of the mat. I had to add some Nuvo dots to 2 cards and the pieces are drying in the center of my mat. Top left of the mat is a new die set from Spellbinders and to the right are "balloons" I made using their new Foam Glitter Sheets. Top right of my mat is today's project that I'll show on video. It's basically the same card I shared on video back on August 18, 2021.

Ok, our bedroom. This picture was before. The walls and carpet are brown. The carpet just inside the bedroom has stretched and has a wrinkle that was ugly. We had cracks and holes (from shelves removed) filled.

All in all this room just got boring. But the new paint job and flooring, I love it!

We went 1 shade darker than the living room walls but the same ceiling color. And the flooring is vinyl, called a floating floor as it's not nailed or glued down. It has a wood texture! It's not smooth but I love it! I got a small Bissell vacuum cleaner and between it and my wet jet swiffer the floor is easy to clean. I even got a dust mop for those harder to reach areas.

So that's it for today. I'll be downloading my video to my YouTube channel mid to late morning here and sharing the card and affiliate links tomorrow.

We're starting into our Monsoon and humidity is high and we're starting to get much needed rain. It's slow but we are forecasted for a wetter than normal rainy season. Bring it on!

A whole season of rain! 🙁 here we could have rain at any time and often do. Although I have to admit the month of June has been good. Newly decorated rooms are lovely and fresh. Happy WOYWW. Angela #11

Ooh very smart new bedroom! I do like a solid floor, so much easier to sweep and keep clean. IT looks very swish. Hope your workshop goes well, that’s nice of you to post the ones to the missing ladies.

Hi Carol, we're back. It's been a lovely day but very hot but dogs were fine as they wore their cooler coats, I wish they made them for humans. Loving your desk in waiting, looks as though it's ready for something exciting to happen soon. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x9x

Multicoloured glitter card, looks fab! What a great idea. Kits for mailing are so much more work, but you’re so organised that I expect it doesn’t make you frown when you get the request! Loving the new look bedroom, that floor is lovely. I’ve a wooden floor in mine and yes, you’ll need the dust swifter thingy, I have no idea where it comes from, but it proved to me that carpets are just full of dust really!
