Playing on my Desk

Late yesterday afternoon I realized that I needed to get a picture of my desk for What's On Your Workdesk Week 671. I was so tired from work and a little sore (I clean our church, takes over 3 hours) and didn't want to move from my comfy chair. But up I got and I'm linked up with Julia of the Stamping Ground for today's longest running blog hop.   Last week I joined then I ended up painting and painting and running for parts for our water line to our fridge then I was so very very sore for a couple days. Anyway, enough of that. Our new floor is awesome!!

I've been prepping to do my Wednesday video that I haven't done for a couple weeks due to painting and flooring. I'll be showing a Double Diamond card. You can see my almost completed pink sample, a blue sample just showing the folding and a red sample ready to decorate. There's even my stamp set for my pink card sitting almost front and center.

I plan on doing my video first on my FB stamping page then downloading it to my computer before uploading it to my YouTube channel (link in the side bar). I still have to clean off my desk, put down a large sheet of paper (the black glass grid mat reflects and pixelates terribly), get my phone cable set up, then I'll be ready. I'll probably do my video about 9 am Arizona time (MST or PDST, we don't do daylight savings).

Hope you're having a great day!

3 hours of cleaning would tire out anybody, let alone when you have been working. Hope you videoing goes well. Happy WOYWW Angela #6

I’m tired just reading what you get up to! The things about painting these days is that it tends to take a lot longer than I remember, lol ;-). Spend more time crafting, that’s the answer!!

Gosh Carol, you are forever busy! I’m very sorry the cleaning makes you sore, if it takes three hours it must be a big old church! a I used to be involved with cleaning our village church, it took two of us a little over an hour and the rota meant our turn only came around once a month. It’s a 13th century church so quite small and in the winter, absolutely stone cold. There is a heating system, but it’s almost as old as the church, it was just easier to get going and keep moving!! Am intrigued by the Double Diamond card, will come back when there’s more time..loving that you have made three in preparation, your videos are so well produced. Happy Easter!
