It's Workdesk Wednesday!

Well, I missed last week and almost didn't make this week to share my desk. But today, I can't get to my desk! We have been removing carpet from the hall and living room and reflooring the hall, living room, dining room, and kitchen. But I'm joining up with Julia of the Stamping Ground anyway. This is week 670

Last week we had the living room and hall repainted from a beige to what's called Pelican Grey. It looks bluish when the light is on it but definitely grey at night. Love it! And the floor is made up of vinyl strips of 2 different widths in shades of grey, blue, and brown. A real nice bleached barn wood look.

Here's the transition in the hall yesterday morning.

The first picture is before they started tearing out the carpet. You can see how pretty the walls are and the ceiling is one shade lighter. They got the base board up which I painted last Friday. The transition pieces to each room are not solid but they may have to use liquid nails to adhere them down firm. We left the old vinyl in the hall bath, my craft room, the spare room, and utility.

Today they'll finish the living room and kitchen (the challenge area) and I'll be painting the base boards.

I hope to visit other deskers today but it may take me all week because of this and church events tomorrow and other stuff the rest of this week.  I think I'm gonna be real pooped for the next week. I'll share more pictures later.

That's interesting because we had our kitchen painted grey and all the time it was being done it looked lilac but you don't see that now it's complete. Good luck with the rest of the work. Hugs, Angela x14x

The floor works so well with the colour of the walls Carol. Sorry not a long comment as I can't sit for very long with the sciatica. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
