Bunny Box Pop Up

Last week at our local monthly stamp club meeting we were taught how to make the Box Pop Up card. I actually made a video of this fun fold card back on Aug. 28, 2020. This card I'm sharing today is the 4th and final card for my March class and it is so cute!! The gal that taught this at club called it a Step Panel card.

While at our meeting I purchased a cute little bunny die by Creative Expressions called Mini Spring Is In The Air.  It's not available at any of my affiliates but you can find it on Creative Expressions UK website.


Isn't this fun!! My video from 2020 is a portrait style but this is landscape.  I made a FB Live video this past Wednesday making this style so head to my YouTube channel and look for my March 2 video. I also have paper sizes and score lines on my post yesterday.

The gorgeous plaid paper was purchased at The Paper Collage. You can find it HERE. I love the owner, Pamela, and love to support her when I can. She is just the sweetest lady and her store is so cool!


Here's the side view of this card. It lays flat and can be mailed in a standard A2 envelope though you probably will need extra postage for the weight and gems.


I stamped my sentiment on the top panel and added a couple green pearls.


I didn't have any rectangle dies with a scallop edge that are current at Spellbinders so I used a retired set called Fancy Edged Rectangles. I wanted to kinda match the scallop edges of the top panel.  I also used a couple retired Silks to add fun to the white panel then added 3 gems from a pack I got at a big box store.

You can add a white panel to the back of the card with another sentiment and a place to sign but if you stamp it, do that first before adhering.

I like this landscape style card as it stands better than the portrait style.  Have you tried one of these?

I like this card, so springy! Agreed, that this stands up better than the other direction. I Google box pop up card and got a zillion and one pop-up box cards (the ones where you have items sticking out of the top of the box). Anyway, off to include your video link in our newsletter.
