A Neglected Desk

Today is the day many of us deskers give you a glimpse into our work areas. Well...... mine's been neglected for almost a week. I'm linked up with Julia of the Stamping Ground and many others but my desk is sad.

This whole sad state of my desk started a week ago yesterday when I called a store in Tucson, AZ about a new battery for my cell phone. They told me they would have it on Wednesday so, after my video, we headed to Tucson and they put in the new one. But, to my amazement, there was no charge as they replaced the battery 2 years ago and they warrantied this one! YAY! So, knowing my hubby was going to get this old phone, we purchased a nice heavy duty OtterBox case for it so he would have less chance to break the screen. On the way home we stopped at Verizon as they sold me a new phone for less than other places I checked. Another YAY! We are both trying to learn our phones, now. They're both Samsungs but so different.

Anyway, now to my desk. Isn't this just sad.

I'm not even doing a video today since I haven't made it to my desk... until today. I've done some spring cleaning on our living room with cleaning windows, dusting, vacuuming, moving stuff out (we're getting the room painted in 2 weeks), and more. Yesterday I had Bible Study then cleaned the church after. But if you're disappointed as to no video I have over 3 years of them on my YouTube channel.

I will be working with that pile to the left of my glass mat today as I need to make some cards for Spellbinders. And I need to prep for my class a week from Friday. So, I think I'll be making up for the "week" off. Please head over to Julia's and check out the other desks. I'll be on and off my computer all day as I work on these required projects.

God bless!

Hooray for not having to fork out for new tech when you don’t have to! My son swears by his Samsung and wouldn’t touch iPhone, whereas I love mine. Hope you get to grips with yours soon!

Well that was good news about the battery! Sometimes we have to do other stuff when we had rather be crafting :). Happy WOYWW and have a great week. Angela #13

Afternoon Carol. What a week! Busy, busy. I hope you enjoy your new phone. I have had mine for nearly three years - it's a Samsung - and I don't think I have yet got every bit of it under my belt! However, I can do what I need and want to with it. Enjoy the prep for the class, and the needed cards. Having the room decorated - ooo... exciting. I have asked someone t come do my hall stairs and landing. They are far too tall for me - and there is no way I'm going to go climbing on ladders on the stairwell!!
I like this week's Scripture - how important at these times in our history to know the salvation only our Father God offers.
Take care. God bless.

I love new tech but less so the learning curve LOL! And yeah, some weeks you just need to pause, regroup, and chill. after my weekend of mad tidying that's me this week too. Good thing about WOYWW? We have all been there and we just roll with it...every desk, tidy, creative, messy or bare, is a pleasure to visit. Best day of the week...
Happy late-in-the-day WOYWW

I had a whole string of Samsung's and loved them. But now onto a Motorola which was a lot cheaper and still an Android so easy to learn!
A lot of cleaning! I am just about to start reorganising my craft room...
Happy WOYWW!

Good news on the phone front Carol. Always annoying when you have to fork out so good when you don't. I am sure that a week off will not do any harm and that you will be glad to have the Spring cleaning out of the way. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

Well I’m a fan of not having to pay! Nice feeling isn’t it, when you don’t know there’s warranty cover! I wish you both luck with your respective new phones, it’s a 21st century dread of mine, to have to re-learn the cell phone! It’s no wonder you’ve had a week away from the desk, you’ve been busy. I did lounger windows yesterday and now feel entitled to call it spring cleaning…never even thought of that! Have fun at your desk works when you get to it.
