New Year, Same Desk

I'm sharing my first desk view of the new year and joining up with Julia of the Stamping Ground. This week is #657. And I'm linking up early or should I say late Tuesday instead of early Wednesday as Julia has already posted when I started preparing this post! She's really on the ball! So, are you ready for my mess?

Usually I turn off my 2 lamps before taking my picture but not this time.  I'm working on a 6 sided Pinwheel Tower card that I'll be showing how to make on my video Wednesday at either 9 or 10 am MST time. Depends on how far I get today as to which time I go live.  The most difficult part of this card is decorating as the assembly of the basic card is so easy!

Sadly our friend passed away last Friday morning. His sister got here in time to be with him and is now busy working on his estate. His memorial is this Saturday. We have spent meals with his sister and her hubby and they're great people.

Anyway, I hope you'll check out the other desk links and enjoy!

I’m sorry to hear about your friend but it sounds like he’d made his mind up to leave, how wonderful that you can help his sister at this hard time. The pinwheel tower sounds amazing, you’ll have to share a close up next week because I have no idea of what that is, lol!!
Happy 2022, hope it’s full of fun and crafting!

Sorry to read of your friend’s passing, I’m so glad that his sister was able to be with him, particularly as he had decided he was ready. I hope you’re forging a new friendship whilst helping her out too, your kindness is no doubt richly appreciated. I hope the Memorial goes well at the weekend. A six sided pinwheel tower…am thinking it’s as hard to make as it is to stay, so am looking forward to making time to hop over to your YT channel, you are a such a great resource Carol!
