It's Workdesk Wednesday!

Ah, Wednesday. Hump day. Mid week. Whatever. But to a few of us it's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. We give you a look at where we craft in whatever shape it's in when we remember to take a picture. And we link up with Julia of the Stamping Ground so we can check out each other's desks.  My desk may look a bit staged but I have a few things out to help me decide what to make for a special card for my February class. Since I have a class this Friday I want to share the next month's cards. Right now I have 3 of the 4 cards ready but this 4th card is eluding me.

I have also changed out the little tool "corral" between my ink rack and glass mat as it was in the way of my inks after I purchased a bunch of Distress Oxides on sale! This little 3 tiered thing is from my trolley. My "corral" is now in its place. I keep short stuff in this rack which works fine but I haven't trained my hands where to reach for the taller stuff yet.

So, far left is a huge pile of GKW (goodness knows what) that really needs to find a better place. There is a white tray on top of some dies just left of my mat. That's the beginning of a project I need to finish real soon, like tomorrow! On my mat are a couple of old Spellbinders Cut N Emboss folders and a package of vertical stamps and my TV remote. Far right you can see the edge of my Magic Mat sitting on my Platinum 6.

I hope you're doing well. We had to replace our hot water heater last Thursday and purchase a new small freezer on Friday. Most our freezables are now at our church in their freezer, 17 miles away.  We'll have our new one sometime next week.

Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause.  Psalm 35:27

Isn’t it always the way that heating equipment breaks in the coldest weather?! I hope all gets fixed shortly. How frustrating that 3/4 cards were so quick but the fourth is playing unfair, Hope inspiration strikes soone.

It’s reassuring that you sometimes have a moment of blank for a fourth card, I can honestly say that I do too when in workshop mode…sometimes I think it’s because I can’t get the idea from head to card, but others it’s literally for the want of an idea that chimes in with the theme or technique or well, anything! I completely see why you changed out the tool corral and I hope that your hands re-train before you start getting cross! Oh my gosh, how lucky that the church kitchen had freezer room for you, expensive enough without losing a bunch of food too.
