A Desk Ready for a Video

Yep, it's Wednesday! And the day before Thanksgiving! I had a very busy desk up until a half hour before I took the picture of my desk to join up with Julia of the Stamping Ground and other fellow crafters for week 651 of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

When I remembered to take my desk photo I had just finished setting up the work area for my Wednesday video.  I'm not making a card but doing an infomercial for a cool tool that I love. Since I got it I ended up becoming an affiliate for The Rabbit Hole Designs and have an order that should be here Monday. But now my desk....

So what is that on my desk? Looks like a huge tube of lip stick but it is actually an embossing powder brush! I won't add any links but I'll give you a closer look at it.

A friend of mine seen this on a video she watched but couldn't remember where it came from. But finally, on Instagram, I seen it and thought, cool. I bought 2, one for me and one for her. I LOVE it. If you want to know more I'll have my little spiel on it on my YouTube channel later.

Hope those of you celebrating tomorrow have a safe and blessed day. And don't eat too much!

I can't tell you how many times I've done that, cleared my desk and then remembered I need to take a photo for WOYWW! Yours looks really tidy, perfect for messing it up again. I thought the brush was for applying make-up. It looks lovely and soft. Have a great week. Elizabeth x#6

Is the brush for brushing away the excess powder? You can tell I don’t do embossing very much. Have a great week Angel #11

I've used a number of different stencil brushes and I really like this one. I'm sure the desk wont stay too tidy for long, it's just waiting for your arrival. Happy belated woyww, Angela x14x

I'll have have to check out your video cause I have no idea what the brush is for - the only thing I can imagine is that it is used to brush away excess embossing powder, but you can do that with a regular brush so there must be more to it? Thanks for your visit and Happy Thanksgiving! xx zsuzsa #20

Happy Thanksgiving Carol! I’m sure you won’t be at your desk today, so apologies for being late. I will go find your Yt vid because I’m fascinated by the brush…not least because it’s huge compared to the little paintbrush that I use, so you have me intrigued. I haven’t heard of the maker either, but that’s probably because of the huge big ocean between us!

Good luck with the video - it reminds me of a blusher brush so I would make do with the one in my make up drawer as I don't use it these days.

Wow that's a brush and a half, I'd probably just want to brush it on my hand all day! White angel is my favourite too. BJ#5

Oh I saw that little brush on a video, one of my american ladies I think. I've been researching a cheap make up brush to make my own I thought it was such a good idea!! My pamper was amazing. Massage weekly now till I get this shoulder sorted I think. Happy belated WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, Cindyxx
