Working Hard At My Desk

It's been a busy past week and it doesn't look like that's going to end soon! Today I'll be joining in with Julia of the Stamping Ground and others who are giving you a peek of our desks and a look at projects we've been working on. This is my desk yesterday as I was prepping for my Weekly Wednesday FB Live video. I do this at 10 am Arizona time on my page, Stampin Carol - Lots of Crafty Goodness. I then save it and upload it to my YouTube channel, the link is in the sidebar. I will be making a Fold Back Pop Up card. I've been eyeballing this for a while and decided it was time to make one!

But my desk...

In this picture my card is prepped and I'm coloring the pieces that I'll be using. You can see my HUGE 220 pencil case on the left and my work in the center. To the right are the stamps and papers sitting next to my Platinum 6. I'll be posting this card tomorrow here on my website.  I used a stamp set I purchases at a yard sale we had at our monthly paper crafters group. It's by Sugar Pea Designs.

But I did manage to get some fun projects made last weekend. I purchased the Stampin Up! Sept. Paper Pumpkin kit from a friend. She didn't was it and I thought it was cute.

The kit showed these all as Jack O' Lanterns but had pictures of the monster and turkey as other things one could make... so I did! These are fun little boxes for goodies.

This is my favorite. I used actual screws in his neck. I cut up some of the adhesive vinyl sticker paper for the eyebrows and mouth and used monster eye stickers. I sponged black ink on the top of the box.

This pumpkin is the actual project for all the little boxes. I stamped on the leaf cut outs and stamped the cut out label. The face is vinyl stickers.

This is my version of the turkey they showed. I used an old Spellbinders turkey die for the eyes, wattle, and beak. I cut up 2 boxes to make the tail. Isn't he a hoot!

Well, this is longer than usual for me but I hope you weren't bored. And I hope you have a wonderful week!
