Well, My Desk WAS a Mess Earlier

I almost forgot what day was coming yesterday! I was so focused on playing with a new Whimsy Stamps die and some Spellbinders dies that after I tidied my table I realized I needed to take a photo. I'm joining in with Julia of the Stamping Ground along with others to give you a look at our desks in whatever shape they were in when we remembered to take a picture!

My video today isn't a fancy fold or technique but just sharing this new to me frame die I got in yesterday. Yep, couldn't wait to play! If you zoom in you can see the card sitting in the middle of my glass mat. It's not put together as I'll do that on my video. Far left is a pile of dies and stamps that I'm using to make kits for my class on the 22nd. I've got a ways to go. Far right is a couple 6x6 paper pads. I used one of them.

An hour before this photo you could barely see the glass mat and stuff on the left as there was paper and dies all over as I played with different ideas for this card.

I do have more than enough Halloween cards for family but didn't feel like making anything else yesterday.  I have a gorgeous Thanksgiving card posting on Friday. Today's card will post tomorrow with affiliate links.

So, I hope you are having a great week. I think hubby and I with friends will go to a pumpkin patch Saturday and play.

Isn’t it lovely when you get something new and can’t wait to dive in!! I’m like that with fabric, it never hangs around for long in the JanCave. I hope you and your hubby have fun in the pumpkin patch!!!

Lovely card and lovely to be able to play with new stuff. I am terrible for waiting until I have some time, you know that time fails to appear!

The pumpkin patch sounds interesting. I'm always amazed how big they grow and so quickly too. New frame die sounds like fun too. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x13x

I love the first make with a new thing - always so much fun! As you will have seen my desk (s) were in an awfukl state and now it is after 8pm the next day and I am only just able to look at them and not cringe. Took forever to get them sorted but thank goodness. Now I can maybe actually make something :D

Happy WOYWW, back online :)

I think we all love playing with new stash, Carol. Perhaps WOYWW should set itself up as a self-help group for addicts lol! I've got plenty of new things at the moment and haven't had time to try them all out yet.

Happy belated WOYWW,
