It's Workdesk Wednesday!

Oh my gosh.... already???? Time to show our desks.... already???? I just remembered last night and hurried to get a picture taken and this post ready. I'm joining up with Julia of the Stamping Ground and this is week 628.

My desk is in prep mode for this morning's video.  It's been over a month since I made one but then, being on vacation is a good reason. On the left side of my glass mat is a sheet of directions I was given for a fancy fold card. My friend Linda picked it up for me at our May monthly stamp club meeting.  I made it and it is sitting just past the sheet and you can see it sitting in front of the little wooden crate of tools. The paper I used it to the right along with the pieces I've started prepping for the video.

I'm sorry that I didn't get around much last week. Stuff started happening, my dad ended up in the hospital (discharged a couple hours later with a bad flare up of gout), more appts., and a lot of frustration.  Hopefully this week will be better. So far, so good.

So, now please head over to Julia's and check out more desks and even some projects.

Your poor dad, that sounds painful - hope he’s ok now. That’s a good friend picking up the worksheet from the class you couldn’t make, the folded card sounds a fun project!

Sorry to read about your father. Family always comes first. We all understand that.

I am in awe of all those coffee images. I don't make cards, but your fancy fold card sounds intriguing. Happy WOYWW from # 4.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. Gout is a (literal) pain, isn't it? Hubby gets it sometimes (well, not for years now) and his Japanese client brings him https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sh%C5%8Dch%C5%AB which apparently doesn't trigger gout. Not sure I buy the claims of preventing thrombosis, heart attacks, and diabetes, but who knows? The card looks intriguing! Good luck with your video. Sad when you get such a lovely rest and then real life insists on jumping up and down and saying "Me ME! Pay attention to ME now...."

What a morning, but I'm here now… HAPPY WOYWW!

I'm sorry you had such a frustrating week just after getting back from your wonderful holiday, Carol. I'm glad your dad was home quickly from the hospital - it must have been scary for you both. I hope you will show us your fancy fold card once it's done!

Thank you for your visit and I'm glad my cleavage adventure gave you a laugh! I told them about it at the hospital this morning and they were very amused!! I had another tidying session this afternoon and made definite progress. I can see the floor again!

Lovely Bible verse. Right up my alley at the moment!

Your poor dad, one of my friends has gout and she says it is terrible.
Your desk is very interesting, especially with the fancy folds card - can we see it in more detail please, I just love doing new cards with fancy folds involved.
Good luck with the video.
