The Calm After The Storm Desk

Happy Desker Day! Yep, Wednesday! And oh my gosh has my desk been busy yesterday! But right now it's the calm after the storm as I tidied up after making 4 cards and started prepping for today's video. This desk view is part of a bunch of us as we link up to Julia's Stamping Ground blog and enjoy seeing what each other's desks look like. Come along and join in! This is week 621.

The 4 cards I made yesterday morning are front and center at the back of my glass mat.  I've already pre-scheduled their posts as we are planning on taking a little trip next month and I need to keep my posts going.  I have a small pile of birthday cards ready sitting on top of my Scan N Cut to the left and a huge pile of new dies and scraps of paper in front of the S N C. On my glass mat is a card I'll be showing on my video at 10 this morning my time (MST - Arizona).  On the white part of my glass mat is my new SideKick.  It works pretty good for those itty bitty dies as it's much faster than running those tiny pieces through my Platinum 6 (which it to the right). I can tell I'm going to need a bunch of cutting plates for it.

Last week I told you about the 2 cards I made for Spellbinders.  You can see them HERE and HERE.  My favorite is the 2nd one.

I hope you let me know what you think of my 2 cards and then pop over to Julia's and check out more desks!  I'll be around off and on all day and probably some during the rest of the week. (And can you believe we're in the final week of April???? Where did it go??)

Have a bless day!

Your cards are really lovely, thanks for sharing. My goodness, you have to be so organised with your posts though, I don’t know how you do it. Organisation isn’t a skill of mine, my one single post of the week is always a bit last minute :-D

Love the cards. I popped over for a look, very nice. Sounds like you're very organised for your trip away, I used to do this when we were on holiday as I like to keep things going and it means you can relax when you're away not that this is going to happen for us for a while. Have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x14x

Well I think on the turn of a hair, that my fave is the Just for You in its lovely turquoise freshness. But I’m easily swayed Carol, usually it would take me a week to choose!! Thing is with you, you make it all look so easy. I’d love to have a go at the foiling thing but simply do not have room to add anymore stash at least till the ends are finished and I can see what I can put where! I love a birdhouse, so the top of the pile of cards is instantly appealing for me too, you are prolific. Could I get some of your anti -procrastination vibe please?! How lovely to be planning a trip, I can’t wait till restrictions here ease sufficiently for us to think about going somewhere else!

Well done on getting ahead with the posting - I love the little bird house card! I like the plain teal and white card best because it's so striking. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #5
