And Now... Back To My Desk

I have to admit my desk was MIA last week due to a variety of things but I'm back! And this post is linked to Julia's blog, The Stamping Ground. This is week 617.

I took this picture near noon yesterday just as I finished prepping for this morning's video. (I didn't make one last week, I was working on getting ready for my class.) Today I'll be playing with a spiral die from Spellbinders/Fun Stampers Journey.  I was surprised to see that I had not used this die and I've had it for a long time!

Anyway, far left is a pack of vellum next to a pile of stuff that needs to b put away.  On the glass mat is my card that I'll be finishing and a bunch of fussy cut kites from the same paper as the card front. And right is a couple packs of paper and the die I'm using. And you can see the new black Magic Mat from Scrapbook.com that I'm giving a work out. Since I'm an affiliate I wanted to see what all the hype about it was. So far, so good.

Anyway, please head over to Julia's and check out the links to the other bloggers! And can you believe this is the last day of March!! Oh my!

How brilliant that you’ve been able to do a class, that shows like life is returning to normal again. The spiral die sounds fun, how funny that you’d had it for a long time but hadn’t used it!

Hope your class went well. The kites are very summery. They look quite fiddly to make. Happy WOYWW and Happy Easter #5 Angela

It's so nice to be able to join in a class with others, it's not easy working alone. I can tell you that you're not the only one that has craft stuff for ages without using it...yes that's me Lol! Have a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x21x

Is that a spiral flower die? Or some other sort of spiral? I had an interesting time with my rolled flowers a few weeks ago! I keep seeing references to the Black Magic Mat but no idea what it's for and I daren't Google because I will only want one. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #3

Kites and clouds, what a lovely sight! You do set yourself a lot of work to do don’t you Carol...I love it! Makes me happy to read that you’re class prepping again, I would give my mini trimmer to sit around a table and take a class at this point! The closer we get to being allowed some freedom from lockdown, the more desperate we’re all getting!!!

The kites are such fun, Carol. My hubby would love that - he loves going out on a windy day and flying his kite! Where we used to live, he once organised a village kite flying session and everyone had a lot of fun.

Happy belated WOYWW,
