The Workdesk Before Christmas

Merry Christmas to my desker friends!

Can you believe it that Christmas is day after tomorrow?? This is the first year in MANY that I have all my cards mailed and gifts already delivered! Well, I have one more card but I am working on it.  Anyway, it's desk view time but my desk is empty.  I haven't been on it since last weekend.  That's not saying I haven't been busy.  But today's post is part of a weekly get together of deskers brought together by Julia of the Stamping Ground. This is week 603.

First, I'd like to wish my fellow deskers a very Merry Christmas.  I know many of you are unable to be with family due to government lockdowns or other restrictions. I hope you get some face time on the phone or tablet. We'll be doing that on Christmas Day with our 3 kids and their families. We live too far away to spend Christmas with them even if there was no virus or they spend it with their other families that are nearer to them.

So, since no desk I'll share some goodies I made for a very small Christmas get together from Tuesday.

These are large pretzel rods dipped in melted candy melts then rolled in sprinkles. I came home with 2 small ones.  They're very popular.

So that's it for me today. May you be richly blessed this week and stay healthy!

Hi Carol. Those candies look great - well done. I won't be seeing my family at Christmas either - easy travelling distances, but just not worth the risk at the moment! Have a really special and Happy Christmas with hubby.
Take care. God bless.

Hi I'm here at last. It's been a busy day as the washing machine is feeling poorly and the second guy has been out to try and fix it and we think he has now found the problem but can't complete the job until the new year. Following his visit we went to pick up the Christmas order from the supermarket. Sounds like you're well organised this year. Take care my friend and wishing you a happy Christmas. Hugs, Angela x10x

Thanks for stopping by Carol! The pretzels look delish! Thank goodness for Zomm - I'll be calling my parents too - we live too far away to visit as well, so it's not unusual for us to spend Christmas apart. Have a very happy Christmas! xx zsuzsa #21

You mentioned you're a beginner scrapper. Well I'm really a photo album first scrapper. Rarely just have one photo on a page as I have loads to do, but yes the old layout design works wonders.
Have a Happy Christmas, Love BJ#17

Thanks for visiting, I made these a few years ago and everyone loved them. I just can't keep up with how fast time goes by. Wishing you and yours a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Ha! Salty AND sweet. Sure to be a hit. I love papercrafting and art journaling and scrapbooking, but man it is fun to see cooking on WOYWW every now and then. I am sure I have collected some great recipes over the years! My daughter would love this one...

Happy VERY late WOYWW - Christmas got in the way!
