Twas My Desk before Thanksgiving...

Yep, Thanksgiving Eve. The day before we gain 10 pounds within 2 hours. And today is the day I share my desk with you! I'm also linking up with Julia at the Stamping Ground as I have done for years. This is week 599!! Next week is a milestone and we'll be doing a Zoom get together on Dec. 5. I hope to take part for a little bit.

So now my desk.  It's kinda staged as I just finished the prep for today's video (I making a domed Christmas tree shaker card). All I have left to do is cover my glass mat and organize my stuff.

Nothing much here. I have my Glimmer plate set and foil on the left side of my mat and my card pieces on the right. The standing card is the first card using these cool Sizzix products.  So not much happening right now but at 10 am my time this table will be busy!

So that's it for today, short, not sure about sweet, but short. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know many are in lock down.  We'll be having a quiet meal and giving God thanks for all the blessings He has given us.

We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.  II Peter 3:13

That card is extremely clever - how do you make the dome bit?! It’s very different and a great card for kids of all ages :-). Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow, Happy Thanksgiving!

We will celebrate on Saturday - it's a work and school day here in the UK - but call back to family in the USA and be thankful for them via Zoom!

Nice shaker card and have yourself a great, fill and fulfilling Thanksgiving :D

Happy WOYWW!

Probably the first year for a while that a lot of us have really stopped to give thanks! Hope you had a good day, and sorry to be late to visit. Making a domed Christmas card...anyone would think you had time! Love your vids, that you can talk and work at the same time is such a skill. I tend to go quiet, and that’s unusual!

I hope you had a very happy Thanksgiving, Carol. I always love the idea of a special day for giving thanks - even if it does mean gaining weight lol!! Your domed card is interesting.

Happy belated WOYWW,
