Desk Time!

I almost didn't get ready for today!  I was at a meeting most of yesterday and late afternoon I had that head-slapping moment of Oh No! I Forgot!  Anyway, I scrambled, took a couple pictures and got my post ready for today. Yep, Wednesday. Desk Day. And I'm linking up with our head desker, Julia of the Stamping Ground

So, this is my desk when I remembered yesterday. I have to say.... it's pretty boring. I cleaned it up late Monday after I got a bunch of projects completed.

Monday I finished prepping for a class next week as this week I need to find time to play with my Glimmer Hot Foil stuff to demo on Friday. Then next week I can work on my samples for my Nov. class. I have to stay at least 1 month ahead. So, my desk. Boring. Far left is a pile of card kit projects I just got in. Four of them are Glimmer Hot Foil projects and 4 are other. Now I can make those 4 cards and get my practice in! Center, just my glass mat, small paper trimmer, and detail scissors. Beyond my mat is lots of little stuff like glue pens, modeling paste, tape, small die cuts, etc.

But, I did take a picture of the kits I finished prepping!

There are 5 bags of kits for those who are unable to make class for various reasons. Then there's 4 clear boxes of kits that I'll hand out at class. I limit my classes to 12.

At noon today I have to head in to Tucson to get some parts for my hubby so I will probably be visiting through the weekend.  I hope you all are having a fabulous day!

Oooh. The kit (the glimpse of it anyway) looks fun! Have fun practicing - sometimes that's when the new ideas begin to grow.

Good luck with the class!

Happy WOYWW!

Your kit bags look fun. I do miss the craft workshops I used to attend. Pinterest, YouTube, WhatsApp & Twitter do help a lot though. Have fun. Take care, with hugs, Sue #23. xx

Hi, Carol!

I’ve been following you for a long time! I’m the person Julia met in the states a few years ago. I am blog impaired but had followed WOYWW for many years prior to meeting her! Discovered that I could post on Instagram and link up. Although I have been a bit sidelined recently due to a leak in our basement!

What prompted me to comment today is your mention of the Glimmer Hot Foil! Don’t you just love it? I belong to the Glimmer monthly club.

My husband is from Arizona and we still have family there. We now live in a small town in southeast Washington State.

Stay safe and well.

Happy Wednesday!

Kathryn

Hi Carol. It has taken me all morning to pick up my click and collect order, so I am really late (for me) starting to work down the list - sorry! Those kits look really fun. Have a great time practising, and then doing the "real thing" with your class. It's going to be a great day, I'm sure. Many thanks for the b ridge card video - I would never have thought of doing something like that all by myself!!
Take care. God bless.

Great looking kits! As I can't use either of my physical venues at the moment my craft classes have gone by the board. I am actually revelling in the total lack of pressure (I have to add there is probably two months of classes ready in my box that may never get used!! I so get keeping ahead of the game). Considering going virtual, but not yet, just trying things out and considering what might work best for me. Making the most of the freedom to do what I want!! Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, Cindy #21

I would love to go to your classes! I went to a couple of classes, but the shop closed, it was nice to spend the afternoon with like minded people. I don’t think tidy desks are boring, more ready to go! Angela #29
