A Sleepy Frog

As I was looking around Pinterest last week I came across a card that was a reverse easel design. Well, I just had to check it out and this silly card developed.

This card has an interesting look.  Not sure why it is called a reverse easel but I like it.

It opens like an easel.

The stamped leaves are from Fun Stampers Journey's In The Tropics stamp set and coordinating dies. (Both are on sale at this time!)

When I started this card I was thinking of making this a more masculine card but it didn't develop that direction.  The background paper came from my Create and Bloom Prints, a pack of 12 x 12 double sided paper.  And the flower centers are made with Stickles.

But these little frogs are so cute.  The leaves this little guy is setting on aren't quite right for being around a pond but they were all I had on my stamp stash that were about the size I wanted to use.  I colored the critters with my Color Burst pencils.

This card will probably be donated to the Tucson Youth On Their Own organization. I'll add a birthday greeting on the panel behind the scallop circle.
