Wednesday Workdesk and Heavy Equipment Treat

Can you believe this is the LAST Wednesday of the month??  Wasn't it just New Year's Day last week???  What happened??

Anyway, today you get the opportunity to see what's happening on my desk.  This is sponsored by brought to you courtesy of Julia of the Stamping Ground.  She's been doing this for 556 weeks!! This is the longest running blog hop ever!!  Are you ready??

This is my desk Monday afternoon after cleaning up the GKW pile. (Goodness knows what.)  Now I know what's in the piles! And the pile is about 1/4 of what it was!

Oh my gosh!! For me this is shocking!! But it didn't last.  Unfortunately I have no other picture as yesterday my hubby and I took my dad in for a medical procedure and I didn't get a picture of my desk yesterday after I made 5, yes 5, Valentine treat boxes for grand and great grand children.  I used Brach's Conversation Heart boxes and covered them.

This is for our grandson, he's soon to be 5 and absolutely LOVES trucks, heavy equipement, and trains.  And he can tell you just about every part of them!

I used a Spellbinder small die set to make this as I thought it was perfect for him!  I used a Picket Fence Studio brush and a die cut to add the funky design but I kinda hid it behind the machine.  Oops!

So now please head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the links to other desks!

 Stampin Carol

May your unfailing love come to me, O Lord, your salvation according to your promise.

Just love the 'heavy equipment' card! I always think of them as heavy plants... as in 'crossing the road' signs!!

Have a good week

Love the heavy equipment... my hubby and I have raised 5 sons, so I understand the need for crafty equipment... lol. Nice job on your valentines.

I knew you’d be busy because of the Valentine thing that is silently creeping up on me, but wonders gal, ten boxes in a day, and seeing to your dear Dad? My word, your time management skills are to be envied. I would have faded and maybe cut them out....by now! Love the digger, and that your grandson knows the parts, it’s lovely when they have such micro obsessions!

Hope your dad is doing well Carol. Love the box for your grandson. We don't live all that far away from the JCB HQ. He would love the digger ballet that they put on as a demo in the summer. Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #2

You just can't go wrong with diggers and tractors for small boys - my eldest son was obsessed with trains for many years. In fact, his 21st birthday present from us was a day's train driving of an old steam locomotive! Well done on the Valentine day's boxes, bet they're lovely, you always do such great crafting!
