Whizzday Desk

Yep, it's Whizzday.  And the closer we get to Thanksgiving the faster the days seem to go. Maybe it's because we're going to see kids and I need to get SOOOO much done before we fly out!  Plus I have a class on the 22nd and need to get ready for that.

Today's post is linking up with Julia at the Stamping Ground as it has for the last 7 or so years.  Yep, I've been joining many wonderful ladies for that long though this get together has been going on for 545 weeks.

Today's post shares my desk from yesterday as I was working on 12 card kits for my upcoming class.  I'm actually doing these ahead of time! Yep, not waiting until a couple days before!

Just to the left of my big green paper cutter is the card, dies, and directions for the card. On the cutter are 2 paper packs that I will be die cutting a cactus and banner. To the right are the white cut pieces for the card.  I still need to stamp and more but this will be a relatively fast card to prep.  All around my general work area is: left, a HUGE pile of stamps and more that I need to go through, and, right, my Platinum 6 and a green basket of scraps. Behind between my green cutter and ink rack is lots of little things that really need to find a better place to be.

I recently got an order in and need to play with these!  Actually, I have played with the gnome die set and that card will post on Friday. I have a Glimmer Hot Foil System and purchased some plates and foil during Spellbinders sale of the products last week. Hopefully I can spend a day somewhere getting the hang of this fun stuff.

Hopefully now that you've reached the end of my post you'll head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the other crafters' desks!

All that rush will fall behind you when you are with family Carol. So nice to spend time with them over Thanks giving.
I love that little gnome, I can understand why you headed straight for him during play time. Happy WoywW Tracey #5

Hi Carol, I'm in love with the effects of foiling. Bought a MINC, as I really want to be able to use it with stamps, I don't want to have to start buying plates. Look forward to seeing what you create, Feeling a little better again today, slow but sure improvement. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz#2 X
