A Desk And A Box of Cards

What day is it???  Really??  Already???  Whizzday??

Anyway,  today seemed to show up so fast that I'm barely over the weekend!  Is this more or less an age thing?  I don't remember the days flying by like this except when I spent my summers with my grandparents!  Oh well.

Today is What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #540. Yep, 540 Wednesdays since Julia at the Stamping Ground started this fun weekly blog tour of desks. Back when I joined around week 185 there was about 130 desks but we've lost 100 in those few years.

Ok, my desk:

My desk is relatively clean as I'm all prepped and ready to make my FB Live video at 10 am my time. All the components are cut and ready and all I'll do is move them to 1 side for my start then bring them in the picture as I need them.  Then I'll take pictures of the card and format my video to MP4, save it to my computer, then upload it to YouTube.

But my desk... far left is a pile of Glimmer Foil plates I want to play with this week.  Middle is my prepped card.  And far right the GKW pile (goodness knows what) is cleaned up and put in its place and now that area is relatively clean and ready for more GKW.

But I did work on a special project this week.  A friend wanted me to make a basket of something to be raffled at her church for a special event. Well, I don't keep stamps and such on hand so the next best thing...

A beautiful plaid box full of 30 all occasion cards. I did remove the ribbons as I'm thinking the
people would like to see what kind of cards are in there. I have just about everything but sympathy and get well as I had none of those in stock, they've all been used!

And I did post the card I had on my desk last week.  You can view it HERE.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please say a prayer for my hubby.  He slid something heavy in his truck and his side is hurting tremendously.  Thanks.  Now pop over to the Stamping Ground and check out the desks linked there.

Now that was a great raffle prize - so thoughtful and very useful as well. Bet the winner was thrilled!! I do love the plaid box too, I might have been tempted to keep that for myself :-)

That's a wonderful raffle prize, it's something i'd go for without a shadow of a doubt. I too am running low on sympathy & get well cards, there sadly seems to have been a run on them recently..

Hi Carol. Sorry I'm late. Trust the filming went well, and I hope hubby is beginning to feel better. That box of cards was a tremendous gift - someone is now a very fortunate person!
Take care. God bless.
