Back to My Desk

It's a beautiful morning... we're getting more rain!  We got over 2" yesterday and over 1 1/2" of it was fast and hard! The wildlife was looking for shelter.. I seen a rabbit hiding under a large aloe vera plant, a small wet wren sitting on our back porch under the awning trying to get dry, lots of hummingbirds feeding like crazy, and more wrens hiding on our front porch out of the rain!

Today's post is part of a fun group of brave crafters that are willing to share their desks.  We all link through Julia of the Stamping Ground.  This is week 538!

Through all that rain yesterday I worked on making my class kits for Friday. And that's when I took my picture of my desk.  I was working on card 3 for the class.  I came to a point where I just HAD to clean up my desk as too much was in my way and I was looking for pieces I knew I die cut but wasn't finding! So, a quick picture and back to work!

I'm making 5 class kits of 4 cards each.  I have 2 gals coming to class and 3 that want the kits.  The green folder on the far left held my cards and directions prior to starting to make the kits. Just to the right of that is my printed directions with supplies, paper sizes, the list of dies and stamps, etc. Then you see an open area on my glass mat. This was totally full of paper and stuff that needed to be put away. Then you see my orange plates for my Platinum and an embossing folder, then my Platinum 6.  The actual card we will be making is to the top right of my glass mat.  The class is called Starry Starry Night and all 4 cards have stars on them.

Last week my "desk" was our master bathroom.  We took the toilet out and painted the walls.  Here's the finished  toilet area (all the wall are a light blue so why the one next to the shower looks white must be because of the flash). I sponged the wall behind the toilet and lightened it. The toilet is taller, which I love! Funny how a taller toilet can make one happy....  LOL!

So now you're at the end of my post.  Please head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the desks links and you may even see some great sceneries, projects, and more!

Still chuckling because I accidently scrolled down to the toilet pic and was wondering if you had resorted to the littlest room for your crafting!! Back to the top and read the post - all is clear! Toilet looks great. Everyone is getting on with their Christmas cards - beginning to feel a little panicked!! Happy WOYWW Cindy #15

A busy desk like you I had a tidy up because I couldn't find stuff. It's unfair to wildlife with the heavy rains, here is Spain a couple of weeks ago many animals were washed away in the terrific downpours some provinces received. Ani ~5

Busy girl! I find that if I miss a few days either crafting or blogging it takes ages to catch up.
Admire your tenacity in workshop prepping, you go girl!!
Hope you have a drier week

Duck egg blue is so pretty Carol, I’m sorry I’m really late calling.
Five kits sounds like work, but you must enjoy. Everyone seems to have those glass mats. And like them, haven’t seen them here and reckon if I dud I’d be shocked at price, my scrap mail paper works well when inky, otherwise the mats I have are fine I think..
Happy very belated WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #14
