Hanging With My Gnomies

I just HAD to make a card using this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches 514 but with a bit of a twist.

I hemmed and hawed about the diagonal in the upper left corner and wait until you see what I did!

Yesterday I made my Wednesday FB Live Video (now on YouTube, click on my link) making a card using a new to me stamp by Stamping Bella.  It's called Gnome Pile.  I purchased it last March when I went to Mesa for the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo. I've taken quite a like to gnomes this year but don't have very many stamps.

Instead of adding a bow, ribbon, or some such thing I cut away the corner!  Now I'm not sure if that qualifies my card for their sketch challenge but I was having too much fun making this card. The little hill is made with the Spring Build-A-Scene die set and the sun is from the Touch The Sky stamp set. The fun cloud paper is from a retired FSJ paper pack.

And my gnomes... I colored them with colored pencils. I tried to get the beards to look like curly beard hair somewhat by coloring in circles.  I lost my bottle of baby oil that I used to blend my coloring but I must have put it in a really safe place.  It will show up when I get another.

Please head over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and check out the great inspiration projects and those, like me, who played with the sketch!
