Workdesk Wednesday and A ReDo

Hey Y'all!  That's how I start my videos.  It's kinda like my catch phrase. Today I am prepping to make my video and show you my desk!  I have to say, I just finished today's prep and started another card we'll be making in my August "Under the Sea" class.  I try to have all my samples ready 1 month ahead to show at a class. So, next Friday, the 26th I'll be showing the "Under the Sea" cards.  But today I'm giving you the opportunity to see my desk in whatever shape it was in yesterday afternoon. And I'm linking up with many others at Julia's Stamping Ground blog! Head on over there and check out all the fun!

Ok, my desk. I did tell you I was just barely starting another project.

My card pieces for today's video is right in front of my ink rack. There is also the ink pad and sequins. But on my glass mat is a piece that I stamped and embossed!  Off to the right is my Platinum 6 with 3 orange plates and a couple small clear ones and you can see the embossing folder under the plates.  Off to the left is the stamp I used and a mini catalog.

What is cool is that my embossing folder matches my stamp! I think the gals in my class will like that!  All those swirls are raised!

Then yesterday I posted about a project.  I made my card using Spellbinders July Large Die of the Month. After the card was made and photoed I watched the video on using it.  Oops. I had NO idea what that "bump" was behind the bike seat.  So I had to fix it.

Here's the link to my post but I do have affiliate links.  I love the new look!

Please now head over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in the the tour of desks!  There's not only desks but frequently projects and fun life pictures!

I'm impressed at how organised you are to be a month ahead. I'm a last minute kind of crafter! I like the swirly wavy embossing and that's a happy coincidence that the stamp matches it so well. I checked out the card - love the bicycle. Elizabeth x #24
