Space Walking

Happy Independence Day!

I am again playing with a Tuesday Morning Sketch,  #510

Here is the sketch. Pretty cool.  I did have a problem with the sketch... I had NO rectangle dies with a scallop edge! ( I planned the sketch to be centered but it wouldn't stay there.)

Needless to say I switched to a square format since I did have scallop square dies.  They are long retired Spellbinder dies.

I brayered some Lovely Blue Liquid Color onto my Bubble Wrap embossing folder before adding my card stock and embossing.  I was going for a moon crater look.  Did I succeed?

And since astronauts have silver suits I heat embossed with silver powder.  I didn't add any gems or anything to this card as I didn't want to detract from my moon look. The astronaut and space capsule are part of the I Believe stamp set, recently released.  I detail cut the images as there is no coordinating die set.

This card could be used for just about any occasion.  The stamp set has some fun sentiments and lots more images.

Anyway, head over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and check out the great inspiration cards and the fun cards meeting the challenge.  I notice that my change up wasn't the only one!
