Making Waves With Tuesday Morning Sketches

Well, I'm back at it.  Playing with another Tuesday Morning Sketch, # 509.  And I actually made my card while doing a FB Live video which is also on my YouTube channel.  How fun!

Here's the sketch:

I pretty much stayed with the sketch.... pretty much.

I have to admit that the center oval and the paper the fish are cut out of are from years ago.  The oval I made using Luna Light paints that I purchased from a long gone stamp store in Vegas (I cannot remember the name and I purchased a bunch of products from them!) about 20 years ago.  It mostly had to be used on shiny or glossy paper.  The fish are cut from a piece of card stock (behind card on left) that I used Dee Gruning's Rainbow sponges to color.  And the jelly fish are from a piece left over from a card I shared last week (behind card to right). Post using the brightly colored paper is HERE.  I used a die from the Winter Build-A-Scene die set to cut out the heat embossed banner.

All the stamped images are from the new Make Waves stamp set that was just release this past Saturday along with its coordinating die set.  This pic shows a closer look at the shiny oval.  Doesn't it look like seaweed??

I added Journey Glaze (similar to Diamond Glaze) to the 6 fish and 3 jelly fish heads. Plus I added dots of Glaze around the fish to kinda look like bubbles!  And how do you like the Turbo Teal (cardstock no longer available) background?  I embossed it with the newly released Water & Wind embossing folder.  This actually was made to go with the new Windy Sky stamp!
