It's WhizzDay Again!

The days are just whizzing by.  The weather yesterday was gorgeous with temps in the mid 80's F and partly cloudy skies.  We had a bit of rain Mother's Day, I expected it as I got my car washed on Friday. But it still looks better than it did before Friday.  Anyway, Whizzday, I mean Wednesday...  Yep. What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday!  The day me and many others give you the opportunity to view our desks in whatever shape their in and possibly a project or two!  And this is all put together by our head desker, Julia at the Stamping Ground.  And this is week 519, just 1 week to this blog tour of desks 10th anniversary!!  Can you imagine that!

Well, my desk has had a big change since last week.  I moved shelves and racks and purged some stuff.  Are you ready?

I exchanged desk positions with my ink rack and a shelf of stuff.  I was getting frustrated that I had to reach way to the right and around my OTT light for my ink pads. And I used to have 2 baskets of paper scraps way to the right, now I just have my little green one.  My trash can needed to be taken out when I was done. So, what else... the green folder on the left has the cards I'll be teaching the 24th. I will start making kits soon.  Between my glass mat and the ink rack is a couple embossing folders and a stack of supplies I used to make a card for my June class. I have my Spellbinders Tool (huge magnet) that I keep my small details scissors on, my cup of tools, and ATG adhesive roller right in front, too! Then on the right the shelf with lots of stuff I use, my Ott light, and my Platinum 6. What a difference!!!  I think this set up will work better for when I make a video, too!

But I did get something special made for someone special this past Saturday.  A wonderful young lady in our church had her bridal shower.  I got a gift off her registry list and decorated a big white gift bag to hold it.

I didn't know it but this rose color is actually one of her colors!  What a surprise!

This turned out pretty good for how fast it came together!  I had it done in minutes!  I love it when something comes together so nicely!

I hope you'll head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the other desks!  I'm so looking forward to pictures of the big get together to celebrate the 10th Anniversary!

Well done Carol, reorganised and a trash can full AND ready to use space again all in one session...admirable. Doesn’t it look different! I think the ink pads in front of you make sense too...I wonder how long it will be before you stop reaching right for one though! Lovely shower bag decoration, how lovely of you.

Wow, Carol, it's been a LONG time since I was here. I bet you will like your new setup.

Your gift bag is amazing. What a lovely color and the bag is as precious as the gift, at least to the young lady, I'm sure. Happy WOYWW from #2.

Hi Carol, how lucky to pick the colour, I've managed to do that on rare occasions, does make you feel good. Well done on the storage change around, sometimes it has to be done. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #15 X

Hi there Carol.
Love the clean up, looks really great, the card for the bride is really beautiful. I love those rectangle Die sets I’m seeing everywhere but too expensive if could find them here. Just as well I guess.
Struggling with very unstable “comment-eating” embedded comment boxes like yours my post has how to fix if interrested.

Happy belated WOYWW, Shaz in Oz.x #20
