Enjoy Today

Yesterday I was just starting to make my FB Live video when my internet went down!  Well, a few minutes later it finally came back on.  I dislike that our phone lines are so ancient and CenturyLink isn't planning on upgrading them so my speed is just 7 mps!  Can't get any slower than that! But I finally got my video done and uploaded to YouTube. But I will share my card here. I used a Tuesday Morning Sketch, #501, for my  layout.

Pretty cool sketch!
Last Monday I played with a technique I've never tried before. Kim and Robin from Fun Stampers Journey and Spellbinders showed this on FSJ's Easy Breezy Spring Collection Launch on April 26.  You can view this video on YouTube, also! The technique is using bubbles to color your card stock!

Here are my samples and what Silks I used to color my water.  This was SOOO cool!

And here is my card.  The stamp is from April's Stamp of the Month club.  Though it's not available now it may be in about 3 months if there are any still in stock.  The print paper is also no longer available but I have so much FSJ print paper that I keep using it when it fits the color look I want.  I do subscribe to a couple "clubs" and you can check out some of my May favorites on my FSJ, Spellbinders, & More Page. Click HERE if you want to see more.

Here's a closer look at the background paper I colored. I loved playing with this technique!

I also found a Gold Wink of Stella brush in my stash and used it to color the stamens.  I hope to play with this technique again! I love the look!

Please head over to Tuesday Morning Sketches and check out the fun inspiration cards!

Pretty card, Carol. Question.. I don't know where you are but is a satellite internet like Hughes Net an option for you? I wouldn't know what to do without HughesNet. Also, if you use a compression program (free) like Clipchamp, the files upload much easier. Use the contact form on my blog if you'd like to know more about either one. Hugs & Creative Blessings!
